COVID 19 INFORMATIONAs an essential service we will continue to operate – even during a Level 4 status.
We are here to ensure our valued clients remain operational!. Kai Point Coal Company is 100% committed to providing continuity of service and supply through all economic cycles and natural events that affect our community as we have been doing since our inception! |
As you will be aware, Covid-19 is having a significant local and global impact. As part of our commitment to health, safety and wellbeing, we wanted to update you on the steps that we are taking to ensure the health and safety of our people and those we work with.
At this stage, we don’t anticipate any delay or interruption in supply or service to our valued customers. Our source suppliers have their plans in place to ensure that their supply services are not compromised, as do our transport operators.
At a local level we are managing our operations in line with current guidelines published by the Ministry of Health and we are ensuring all staff are educated about the usual preventative measures they should be taking with their own personal hygiene in order to remain healthy and what process to follow if they become unwell.
Like most of you we are paying close attention to this fast-evolving situation. We have already implemented protocols to slow down the spread of COVID-19 to protect not only our staff but also you and your families and the wider community. We will continue to introduce new measures as and when required.
We follow the guidelines announced and updated by the Ministry of Health { https://www.health.govt.nz/our-work/diseases-and-conditions/covid-19-novel-coronavirus/covid-19-novel-coronavirus-health-advice-general-public } to be a useful reference and we encourage others to view these pages regularly for the latest information.
Please feel free to contact us if you require any further information.
We recognise that we are all in this together, and we are committed to playing our part in helping our country find its way through this health crisis with minimised impacts on our communities.
